Another Energy Drink

Of course this reminded of the great George Clinton song, video below:
The misadventures of a young woman, through her transition from college to the real world. Times can be tough, budgets can be tight, and hours spent at the office can be long, but nothing is impossible as long as she has her trusty sidekick - a can of cold diet soda.

Of course I am collecting both. I currently have over 800 My Coke Rewards points, and around 10 Pepsi Stuff points. I have a bunch more Coke points because it's been going on for a while now, while the Pepsi promotion just started a few months ago. I get a kick out of punching in the codes and checking out what prizes I might get. Nothing cashed in so far, but I have my eye on a few things. How many points do you have? Any prizes picked up so far?

For some reason I've been thinking about Crystal Pepsi a lot lately (much to my friends' chagrin). I've been loving this "Crystal Gravy" mock commercial from SNL. Take a look below: Labels: Crystal Pepsi, gravy, Kevin Nealon, meaty things, sophisticated cola taste, video
The game itself was great (and proved Carl right!), but I found a lot of the commercials to be pretty underwhelming (or downright offensive, SalesGenie, I'm looking at you). Some of the good ones were from the soda makers though. Check 'em out down below: Labels: advertisements, commercials, diet Pepsi, diet soda, Super Bowl, video

Did you see any you thought were really good?
Not really my thing but... Labels: black cherry, cherry, diet soda, Savage Garden, video

Just in time for the holidays, Cadbury has unveiled some new flavors for their flagship products 7Up and Dr. Pepper.
I don't think I've seen a pomegranate flavored version of a soft drink before, but behold Pomegranate 7Up. "With its natural Pomegranate flavor and deep burgundy color, Pomegranate 7UP is a festive addition to the holiday season," said Matt Smith, 7Up brand director for CSAB. "Pomegranate is one of the fastest growing flavors in beverages today, and Pomegranate 7Up makes a perfect primer for any holiday party." Better act fast on this though, the pomegranate version of the UNCOLA will only be available until the end of January. No diet version, darn!
Also new on shelves is Cherry Chocolate Diet Dr. Pepper. This goes along with the very successful Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper (which I often refer to as DCVDP) and Diet Dr. Pepper Berries & Cream. It's a limited edition too, so grab it while you can. It's sure to be in short supply as Dr. Pepper has created an Internet sensation with this re-mixed video of Tay Zonday's YouTube hit "Chocolate Rain." Check out "Cherry Chocolate Rain" below:
Everybody have a safe and happy Thanksgiving! For a few chuckles, watch this video from Saturday Night Live of Adam Sandler unveiling his "Thanksgiving Song." Labels: laughs, thanksgiving, video
I'll see you guys after the holiday!
