A friend sent me this link about a man who installed a soda fountain in his kitchen. How cool is that?! I've always wanted a house with a giant wet bar and a diet soda dispenser next to it. I guess I spent too many years bartending back in my younger days and got spoiled by having everything at my fingertips. Seriously, you set up a contraption like that and when your friends come over, you can hand them a glass and tell them to help themselves to Cherry Coke Zero, Diet Sunkist, Sprite Zero, Diet Dr. Pepper (sorry, I'm a low-cal kinda gal and love all kinza sugar free foods) and all of the other awesome sugar-free sodas out there. According to the video that accompanies the link, the guy installed an eight-head unit with an ice dispenser and ran the syrup lines through the wall from the garage. The machine goes through 200 pounds of ice each week. Craziness! Whoever this man is, I tip my hat to his genius. Bravo!
